We at West Acres are a peaceful Bed & Breakfast set in the beautiful countryside in Blandford Forum, in Dorset. We are renowed for our spacious, cosy rooms, and our surrounding views of the lush green countryside and of the horse paddock opposite the house. When you wake up in the morning and look out onto the estate, you will be greeted by our friendly horsey neighbours.
We have all the facilties you will need to have a comfortable stay and we have plenty of parking storage for all those bikers out there who wish to stay with us. We offer a twin room and a double room available to let at very reasonable and affordable prices from £35 pppn when sharing and from £40 if you are a single visiter. They both have far reaching views over the surrounding countryside, and they are both ensuite.
We are very flexible when you want your breakfast in the morning. We only use locally sourced ingredients and all of our guests say how delicous and filling they are. We even have a packed lunch option available for when you go and visit the local attractions. For meal times, there is no need to worry, you are spoilt for choice! There are a range of pubs within easy reach, and there are many gardens that usually have restaurants or tearooms such as: Mapperton Gardens Beaminster, Athelhampton House Puddletown and Knoll Gardens at Ferndown.
There are many interesting and lovely places to visit whilst you stay with us, including the famous Jurassic Coast - Lulworth Cove which is only 12 miles away; horse riding sites, golf courses & leisure centres, and some historical sites such as: Corfe Castle, Lulworth Castle, and Kingston Lacey House which is near Wimborne. Theres Monkey World, and the Bovington Tank Museum too which are about 5 miles away. There is also a picture framing workshop on site too, where, if you want, you can work on something during your stay with us.
